We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic volunteers, who are happy to deal with the public, to assist with Home Live Art’s Alternative Village Fete at Lollibop Festival (www.lollibopfestival.co.uk), Hatfield House, Herts (25 mins on the train from Kings Cross) on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2014, from 10.00am to 6.00pm each day.
Now going into its fifth year, LolliBop is the UK’s biggest festival for kids. It is the only festival where all the entertainment is aimed at children under 10 and their families. As well as a programme of live acts and shows, the event is focused on interactive play. Playing is key to LolliBop and it’s part of the ethos to create a place where parents can learn and have fun with their children whilst playing the day away.
Artists taking part in Home Live Art’s Fete need assistants to help them set up and run activities for the public. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in public art events, installation, live art and participatory practice. We can offer a £60 stipend for the day plus a return train fare from London Kings Cross to Hatfield each day and we will take volunteers on a first come, first served basis.,
The innovative line up of artists includes: 815 Agency Nicola Read who will be running a Den Building project, Exploring Senses with Robot Relays, Hoopin In The Loop with performances from Miss Constance Irkles and Carboot Disco Bingo.
