Fragrant Flower Festival

Jyll Bradley with High Suffolk Flower Club

The Internationally renowned Fragrant Project produced a mini flower festival, referencing the medieval traditions of ‘greening’ the church and floral decoration. Taking the theme of ‘Rites of Passage’ each arrangement expressed an important personal moment from the arranger’s life.

Debra Hutton Chairman of East of England Area NAFAS, staged a flower demonstration which was followed by a procession around the church, lead by the East Anglian Traditional Music Trust to place floral works, made to commemorate the lives of people buried in the graveyard.
