Home Live Art are currently supporting Brighton based artist Zoe Bouras on the development of their new performance project Landed.
“We lived in a triangle of nervous tolerance, exotic titillation and blunt distaste. I was shared between the uprooted and the deep-rooted.”
In the days before supermarket humous and easyjet flights to Santorini, Zoe grew up in a half-Greek, half-British home in Hastings on the Sussex coast.
Through storytelling, music and coffee, Landed unearths long-buried questions from Zoe’s family’s past: How long do you have to live somewhere before you call it home? Why is there an octopus in a suitcase?
