Reel Queers curated by Sarah & Vanessa Farinha
The first Reel Queers event took place on Monday 19 August and was curated by local wife and wife team Sarah and Vanessa Farinha
The evening featured a personal selection of short films, clips and found footage celebrating queer women* on screen over the past 50 years since the Stonewall riots.

Sarah Farinha is a BAFTA winning screenwriter who writes for film & TV.
Vanessa Farinha is a creative producer, artist and co-founder of The Nothing productions.

*We believe Queer women are an awesome and diverse group of people, including cisgender and trans women who may be bisexual, lesbian, pansexual, asexual and/or gender fluid.
Part of Pride Hastings Week 2019
This was a pay-what-you-can event, all money raised on the door will go directly to Hastings Pride. Location will be announced shortly.
