Open Call: LGBTQ+ artist, Hastings

Home Live Art are delighted to announce a new collaboration with The Marlborough Theatre in Brighton to support an LGBTQ+ artist based in or around Hastings working in cabaret, theatre, live art and/or interdisciplinary performance.

This opportunity is specifically for an LGBTQ+ artist early in their career or whose practices may have been overlooked and who feel they are not currently connected to a professional and/or LGBTQ+ artist network or touring circuit.

The artist will receive a £1000 participation fee, mentoring sessions with leading practitioners and an opportunity to see live work in a new location.

A tailored package of support from Home Live Art and Marlborough Theatre will also be available. This support could include: showcasing opportunities, residency time, assistance with documentation or facilitated peer-to-peer learning.

All applicants should be outside of education and training and have delivered at least one documented project to a public audience. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
