DIT workshop: Make FUNding FUN again
Optimistic and FUN FUNding solutions for mid-career rejects.
As part of Live Art Development Agency’s Do It Together (DIT) programme, the open call is now live to apply for ‘Make FUNding FUN Again’, led by artists Rosana Cade and Moa Johansson.
This free workshop explores playful, collective-focused alternatives to art FUNding systems in the UK for mid-career artists with experience of rejection.
Applying for ACE can feel like a lottery, but with more work and nowhere near as much FUN.
As an urgent response to the dire funding situation, we want to collectively explore how we can create new artist-led structures for supporting each other financially. For example, a monthly artist lottery, shared investment scheme, group casino trips...

Travel Bursary: Home Live Art are offering a travel bursary for any artists based in Hastings and Rother who are selected to take part in this workshop. Please select this option on the application form.

‘Make FUNding FUN Again’ is one of 10 artist-led DIT projects. Across the programme, artists are offering opportunities to join Campfire Discos, take part in collective rituals, perform in a double act with your online self, experiment with eco-agency and even be abducted by aliens!
