We’re collaborating with Greenwich Peninsula and HemingwayDesign to bring a healthy dose of HLA acitivity to their Urban Village Fete next month.
On 10th May and free to attend, The Urban Village Fete is a contemporary twist on the traditional village fair and will celebrate the best in design, music, art, food, modern craftsmanship and making.
We’ll be presenting a select cohort of HLA artists as part of the live programme for the day. This group includes; Richard Dedomenici with his world famous Swivelympics, Ilana Mitchell with her beautiful and edible Edicures, Nu-Urban Gardeners who imagine new green landscapes with their Post-Urban Gardens and wordsmiths The Poetry Takeaway.

New collaboration with Claudine Eccleston, founder of Playing the Race Card, to co-curate a special series of events celebrating Black culture, resistance and happiness.
We thrilled to announce that Playing the Race Card, a trailblazing collective in Hastings championing the work of Black artists, have launched an open call for artwork submissions for their highly anticipated exhibition at the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery, scheduled to run from May 3 to August 25, 2024.
