Home Live Art in collaboration with the V&A’s contemporary team, explored the relationship between art and food through art performance, music, film, panel discussion and tours of the museum’s collections, at the V&A. Visitors were invited to view or participate in the novel food events created specially for the V&A’s galleries and restaurants by a group of British and International artists:

‘Cooking as Performance’, panel discussion, was chaired by cultural commentator Marina Warner, who was joined by renowned artist Bobby Baker and the screening of her performance ‘Kitchen Show’, as well as chefs Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers from the River Café and Michele Woods, an art therapist specialising in eating disorders.

This event was supported by Waitrose, Artsadmin and the Arts Council of England.

Artists included: Ursula Martinez, Marcia Farquhar, Robin Deacon, Miche Fabre Lewin, Adam Dant, Bobby Baker, Bob & Roberta Smith, Lisa Cheung, Marsha Chuykova.
