Queer History Collective

Collecting Now!

We are thrilled to be working with Hastings Museum & Art Gallery to support 10 queer local history curators to choose an object and story to enrich its social history collection.

Working collaboratively with Home Live Art, E-J Scott (Founder of the Museum of Transology), New Writing South and the Hastings Museum & Art Gallery Curatorial Team, over six digital sessions beginning on 9 February, members of the Queer History Collective will:

·       Choose an object with a queer story close to home,

·       Use their voices to develop the interpretation of these objects,

·       Create short films about the objects for a new page on the Museum website.

To find out more information or register your interest, go to the Hastings Museum & Art Gallery website.
