£5 Community Tickets

Ten £5 Community Tickets are available for anyone who would otherwise be unable to attend due to cost. You don’t need to prove your income or provide any information to book one.

To book a community ticket for £5 (plus booking fee) click on ‘Have a promo code?’ which can be found under the ticket options and above the ‘checkout’ button. Enter the promo code QUEERICON and the community ticket will then come up as an option in the list of tickets available.

Community Tickets are offered on a first come, first served basis.

These Community Tickets are made possible by those booking a Pay It Forward ticket.

Travel Support

We recognise that getting to and from events can be a barrier for many people in our community. A limited number of travel bursaries are available to support people who need help with travel costs to attend the Queer History Prom.

We anticipate that these bursaries will support:

  • Anyone who is unable to use public transport or travel by foot due to a disability or impairment.

  • Anyone who cannot afford taxis or public transport and would be unable to attend without financial support.

  • Anyone who does not feel safe travelling by foot or public transport and would not attend without a bursary (for example, trans and gender non-conforming people who may be at increased risk of experiencing hate crime while travelling).

Travel bursaries of £10 or £20 are available and will be paid via PayPal in advance.

If you need support with travel costs, please complete this form and we will be in touch.

Travel bursaries are limited. We ask that you apply only for the support you need so we can support as many people as possible.

Personal Assistants

Free tickets are available for
