Serious Fun 2 Launch hosted by Angel Rose & Oozing Gloop

We are very excited to announce the launch of new interactive zine Serious Fun 2 on Saturday 19 September at Queer on the Pier in Hastings.
Created and developed by Angel Rose and Oozing Gloop Serious Fun 2 will be available to purchase at a pop-up zine stall during the event, as well as DIY make-your-own zine kits provided by GrrlZineFair.
Following the format of Serious Fun 1, the second issue of Serious Fun will be packaged in re-used VHS containers and explores similar themes of performance, queerness, aesthetics and politics. However, Serious Fun 2 will be an interactive zine. Through participation, readers will be invited into an online space featuring essays, images and videos.
Queer on the Pier is a socially-distanced queer party featuring cabaret, drag and DJs on Hastings Pier. Tickets start from £8. Buy tickets for Queer on the Pier.
Don’t worry if you cant make it to the party, Serious Fun 2 will be also be for sale at this year’s Artist Self Publishing Fair, taking place online on September 27th from 2-7pm.
Serious Fun 2 is part-funded by New Fragments, a bursary programme set up by Home Live Art to support artists to develop their practice and enable them to continue their work during the Covid19 lockdown.
