One Foot in the Groove

Fun and fabulous dance group.

About

One Foot in the Groove is a community dance club for older people who love to move.

Since 2020, members have come together for choreography sessions, social events, and unforgettable performances.

Currently working with choreographer Darragh O’Leary, the group learns new routines, explores movement and keeps dance joyful and inclusive.

They’ve taken the stage everywhere from the De La Warr Pavilion, St Leonards Festival, the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations at the Southbank Centre and Duckie’s Posh Club in Hackney, Eastbourne and Hastings.

Visit the group’s 2020 blog to uncover how its members stayed connected and kept dancing through the pandemic.
