Queer Writing Workshop

A Hastings Queer History Collective Event

When: Tuesday 19th May
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Where: Hastings Museum and Art Gallery
Ticket Price: £5/£3

A creative writing workshop responding to histories and experiences of local queer life.

Led by writers Remi Graves and Sophie Fuller, this workshop responds to the Lemons, Laws & Secret Doors exhibition in Hastings.

You’ll use prompts and exercises to develop poetry or prose in response to the exhibition, which brings together queer histories and lives in Hastings, from joy and community to defiance and survival.

No writing experience is necessary - just bring something to write with and an open mind.

This workshop is for LGBTQIA+ folks only.

Part of the Lemons, Laws and Secret Doors exhibition by the Hastings Queer History Collective. Running till 30 August.

Full exhibition events programme.
